The Dragon Machine
This week, we have continued our journey with the story 'The Dragon Machine'. The children enjoyed making their own dragon machine last Friday afternoon for our reading corner and the children have loved it so much that we decided to use it to inspire our writing this week. The children made small play-doh dragon machines as they listened to the story and pretended to fly in our giant class machine. The children then took their small dragon machines and visited some places set up around the class which related to places we have learned about in Geography this year. The children talked with their partners about the different places before recording their ideas on a plan. The children then wrote about their flight in the dragon machine using a range of wonderful adjectives. Next week the children will be exploring rhyming poetry. Have a lovely weekend.
